Kartik J. Desai, M.D.
Dr. Kartik J. Desai MD is Board certified Physician in Internal medicine by American Board of Internal Medicine-ABIM. Dr. Desai has a very extensive experience in out patient and in patient medical practice, treating patients with Primary Medical Conditions including Hypertension, Coronary Artery Diseases, Congestive Heart Failures, Chronic Obstructive, Pulmonary Diseases, Reactive Air Way Diseases, Bronchial Asthma, Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Kidney Disease, Kidney Stone, Arthritis, Fibromalgia, Anxiety Depression, Chronic Back Pain, Weight Management, Preventive Medicine, Travel Medicines, Vaccinations, Immigration Medical Requirement, Physical Exam, Cancer Screening.

Dr. Desai was a Chief Resident during his Internal Medicine residency in New York City. Dr. Desai also worked as Chief Hospitalist at Upper Chesapeake Health (covering two major hospitals) in Maryland for the duration of 2 years with extensive experience in successfully treating different medical conditions which include routine, urgent and emergent cases. Dr. Desai has also experience in treating serious ICU Patients both, during his training and while working as a Hospitalist.

Dr. Desai is an active member of American Medical Association (AMA), American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), American College of Physician (ACP)

Dr. Desai is a pleasant, approachable, dedicated, highly professional, well trained, well experienced Internal Medicine board certified primary care physician.

 

Elizabeth Harvey - Medical Assistant

Elizabeth started working in January 2008. She's enjoys working with all the patients and staff. She looking forward to become a Registered Nurse in the future.

Yumna Mushtaq - Associate
Yumna started working as in intern in September 2008 and soon she became a part of our team. She is currently studying International Business at University of Maryland.
